Dr. Jennifer Blaschke was born in a small town in South Central Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry.
In her practice, Dr. Blaschke especially enjoys caring for children and families of all ages, including infants. She has a strong interest in myopia management and pediatric eye care, where she helps children build healthy visual habits and protect their sight as they grow. She is also passionate about providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, ensuring that every family member feels comfortable and care for during their visit.
Dr. Blaschke lives in New Braunfels with her husband, Sam, and their two young sons. You can often catch the whole family on the golf course. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys yoga, fitness classes, traveling, and baking (look for her homemade treats in the office!). The fastest way to her heart? Candy or dessert, coffee, or a Harry Potter movie.
